About NTN

State of Texas

North Texas Naturists (NTN) is devoted to the wholesome acceptance of the human body and the enjoyment of nude recreation. Nudism/Naturism is not about sex, it is about freedom and acceptance. North Texas Naturists is not a sexually oriented club. Couples, singles and families are welcome to join.

Our goal is to develop a diverse membership of couples, families and singles who get together regularly for the mutual enjoyment of meaningful social ineraction, nude recreational activities and a wholesome, nurturing environment where members feel acceptance and support.

Do not be concerned about your own personal appearance. Everyone is different and that diversity is celebrated and accepted. There is no such thing as a perfect body. We believe that the mutual acceptance of club members leads to a healthier acceptance of ourselves.

We are a nonlanded club which means we do not own any club facilities, but operate as a travel recreation club, meeting at designated recreation sites and member's homes. We plan to organize a variety of activities, ranging from trips to landed nudist resorts in Texas and elsewhere to a simple afternoon of skinny dipping and nude sunbathing at Hippie Hollow on Lake Travis near Austin. We are based in the Dallas - Fort Worth area.  We are affiliated with the American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR) and with The Naturist Society (TNS) and we embrace the core principles and philosophies of those national nudist organizations.

NTN Activities

North Texas Naturists plans to hold one or more monthly events during the spring-summer months. Please check our event page for updates or to review the flyers from past events.

NTN members may and are encouraged to host house parties.  Please contact us for assistance with planning and advertising if you would like to host a house party for club members.

There is so much to do and enjoy at NTN day or overnight trips to area nudist resorts.  You can enjoy active pursuits like volleyball, basketball, softball and tennis or can choose to just relax in the pool or hot tub or work on your full body tan on the sun deck.  Most area resorts offer hiking and nature trails.  We also plan barbeques, pot luck dinners, movie nights, game nights, themed parties and all sorts of other activities.  Our activities are just about anything you would do clothed only more.

Naturist Etiquette

Generally, the same common-sense guidelines for behavior and conduct apply in the naturist world as in the clothed world. Be polite and respect the rights of others. When visiting a landed club as part of a group outing, make sure you understand and follow the rules specific to that club.

  • Gawking is impolite.  It is okay to look but always rude to stare.
  • For sanitary reasons, always sit on a towel when using public seats or furniture.
  • Respect the environment.  Stay out of environmentally sensitive areas and take with you anything you brought in while enjoying nature.  Naturists believe in leaving natural areas cleaner than they were when we arrived.
  • When visiting clubs and resorts always use trash cans and do your part in keeping the grounds clean for everyone's enjoyment.  Always use butt receptacles where smoking is permitted.
  • Get dressed before leaving established nudist areas.  Nudists are not trying to offend anyone.
  • Follow all parking regulations and other posted rules.
  • Do not engage in overt sexual activity or harassing conduct.
  • Respect the property of others.
  • Get the permission of subjects before taking photographs.  At landed clubs and resorts, photography is generally not permitted to ensure everyone's privacy.  If attending an event in a private home, do not take photographs without the permission of the host(s).
  • Respect the privacy of others.  Many people simply like to enjoy being nude in nature and don't want to be disturbed.  It is good to be friendly and that is encouraged, but pay attention to the response and body language of others and take your cues from that.
  • Speak up for standards.  If you see people who are violating the accepted standards, please explain to them clearly and politely just how they are violating the rules and what the proper behavior is.
